Ever wondered how to organize your Tombow Dual Brush Pens? Today I’m going to show you! For the past 96 days I’ve been on Instagram with a video each day using a different Dual Brush Pen color. Now that the #96daysoftombow challenge has come to an end, I thought it would be fun to show you how I organize my Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
I used to organize them by cap color, trying to put them in an order that made sense by grouping like colors together and organizing them from darkest to lightest within their color families. However, some of the cap colors are actually quite different than the corresponding ink colors, so I recently decided to organize them by their ink color instead.
This was actually a little bit of a tedious process – I ended up swatching out each color then putting them in order after taking a look at all of them swatched next to one another. Again, I grouped the pens with like colors together and organized roughly from darkest to lightest.
I created a handy chart that I now keep next to my 96-piece set of Tombow Dual Brush Pens in the same order that they’re in the set so I can easily see what the ink will actually look like when I use it!
